The ELEAGUE Major Qualifiers continue today with another eight fixtures as teams bid to qualify for the next CS:GO Major.
Our three picks for today’s action are the following teams to win their respective match-ups:
- Immortals (versus Vega);
- Dignitas (versus GODSENT);
- Cloud9 (versus Tyloo)
We’ve picked Immortals because, theoretically, on paper this should be a relatively simple match-up. The Brazilian squad should run out victors over Vega Squadron despite their surprise recent victory over CLG.
Whilst the CS:GO scene is often plagued with teams that are fantastically inconsistent, C9 famously beat Tyloo 16-0 on Dust 2 just a month ago and although they’ve hardly set the world on fire with their performances since then, they seem to (just about) have Tyloo’s number. Judging by Tyloo’s recent performances, they still look talented but just can’t bring it all together and are far too inconsistent when it comes to the big stage.
Dignitas versus GODSENT is another close contest but the form books all land solidly in the favour of Dig. It seems as if it’s there match to drop, having beaten GODSENT in all five of their last encounters and not dropping a single map. The team have played six times since September and only once have GODSENT come out on top. Both teams got off to a good start yesterday but we think Dig should just have too much for their Swedish counterparts.
