HyperX has announced that it will continue to support esports by sponsoring ELEAGUE and the 2017 tournament season.

HyperX was the official gaming headset sponsor of ELEAGUE in its inaugural year and has signed up for more of the same.

Daniel Kelley, Director of Marketing, HyperX commented: “HyperX is proud to sponsor ELEAGUE for a second year as a marketing partner and the official headset sponsor. ELEAGUE and esports have grown to become more popular on-line and on broadcast TV, gaming is mainstream entertainment and HyperX gaming headsets are loved by gamers.”

It was reported today that ELEAGUE sponsorship costs will be the same as they were last season, which should ensure a number of companies flock to the opportunity. We’ve already seen Arby’s, Dominoes, Snickers and more try out esports sponsorship with ELEAGUE.

Seth Ladetsky, Senior Vice President, Turner Sports Ad Sales said: “HyperX is the perfect match for ELEAGUE as our official marketing partner. We can feel their enthusiasm to grow with us and deliver esports as mainstream entertainment for everyone. HyperX continues to grow its fan base, with socially engaged fans that love the experience of ELEAGUE.”

The ongoing ELEAGUE Major will conclude in Atlanta this weekend with the play-offs starting on the 27th. There’s a $1 million prize pool up for grabs in a competition which has already seen some thrills, spills and upset.

Esports Insider says: ELEAGUE is the major draw for sponsorships with its TBS coverage and HyperX has made what looks a good decision to sign on with Turner for another year.
