The two organisations will work together on a number of initiatives ‘to grow the esports community’, and OMEN by HP will henceforth gain a prominent place on the Immortals’ shirts.

Immortals CEO Noah Whinston commented: “It’s outstanding to partner with OMEN at such an exciting time in esports. By combining Immortals’ expertise in competitive gaming, and OMEN by HP’s unrivaled pedigree in technology, this partnership presents a unique opportunity to accelerate esports’ growth and reach an even larger audience.”

HP will be supplying OMEN’s desktop and laptop PCs for training at their individual team houses and the upcoming Immortals team facility.

Matt Cowling, Head of Global Marketing, consumer personal systems at HP stated: “Last week, we pulled back the curtain on the most advanced hardware to be badged OMEN by HP, and today, we’re celebrating the people we created OMEN for, competitive gamers.

“The latest OMEN products were built to perform in the esports arena, where the athletes of the future compete, train, and hone their skills. We’re confident the outcome of our relationship with Immortals will bring a winning combination to both companies.”

Fans will have things to look forward to as a result of this partnership too. The companies have stated that they’ll work together to produce esports-related content, such as tutorials for aspiring players and behind-the-scenes looks at Immortals players.

Nick Phan, General Manager of Immortals, noted: “Between training and competing at the highest level, streaming for their fans, or just kicking back and playing a casual game to relax, our players spend their whole day with their rigs.

“More than anything, they need systems that can keep up. Now with OMEN by HP onboard, that concern is a thing of the past.”

Immortals have teams in League, CS:GO, Overwatch, Smash 4, Melee, and Vainglory.

Esports Insider says: As a fast growing global esports organisation this partnership represents good value for both sides, and the content set to be created is something Immortals fans can look forward to.
