The Rocket League Championship Series world finals of season four will take place in Washington D.C. between November 10-12th.

It’ll feature ten teams from three regions, and, will boast a $150,000 (£113,000) prize-pool. Moreover the finals are being held at the impressive theatre at MGM National Harbour. Tickets are priced at between $67 to $106 dollars with the higher priced option giving you ‘the best seats in the house’.

This season’s RLCS has seen strong performances from Method and PSG in Europe. PSG Esports only recently entered the scene after signing Dan ‘Bluey‘ Bluett, Victor ‘Ferra‘ Francal and Thibault ‘Chausette‘ Grzesiak in September. The youthful side, Bluey and Chausette are only 15 and 16 years old respectively, has so far won six and lost just one. This puts them just behind Method on goal difference. At the other end of the table, Team Secret have had a rough time of it in this campaign losing all seven fixtures to date.

Over in the NA RLCS, it’s Cloud9 and G2 Esports leading the pack. This is the second season that Oceania has been involved though the two teams that made it to the finals last time around, Just A Minute Gaming and Alpha Sydney, bowed out right away.

As for teams to keep an eye out on for season five and beyond a look down at the Rival Series (the second tier of the RLCS) sees Fnatic 7-0 to the good in the EU, whilst Fibeon are the same over in NA.

Sponsors for this season’s RLCS include Brisk and Old Spice once again, and newcomers Mobil 1 and Nissin Cup Noodles. You can read more about the finals, and how to secure tickets here

Esports Insider says: Last year we saw Northern Gaming take the title of world champions in Los Angeles seeing off Mock-It eSports EU in the finale. With PSG and Method impressing so far this campaign, it could be Europe’s year to snatch back the title.
