Amazon and Pagini announce Gear.Club tournament

Amazon, in partnership with Italian luxury sports car manufacturer Pagani Automobili, has announced its new competitive event, GameOn Masters: Gear.Club 2018 featuring Pagani.

Powered by Amazon GameOn, the tournament is featuring Gear.Club by Eden Games, a mobile racing game available in Amazon, App Store and Google Play. Players from North America, Latin America and Europe – can enter the public qualifier that is running from September 27 to October 14.

David Nadal, CEO at Eden Games said: “Nothing brings a gaming community together like competitive play, and with the help of Amazon’s GameOn, players from across the globe can compete for a spot in the tournament and connect through competitive play.”

The top eight players are receiving an all-expense paid trip to Las Vegas, Nevadas where they will compete in the finals. The event is scheduled for November 11 at the ARIA Resort & Casino. Players are competing for a portion of the $20,000 prize pool, the first place is also receiving an all-expense paid trip to the Pagani factory in Italy. ESP Gaming is in charge of the production of the event.

Amazon continues its incursion into mobile gaming with the GameOn Masters: Gear.Club 2018 featuring Pagani. Back in June, the company organized the Mobile Masters tournament at its headquarters in Seattle. The tournament featured Power Rangers: Legacy Wars, Survival Arena, World of Tanks Blitz, and Critical Ops.

Esports Insider says: Tournaments featuring mobile games are gaining popularity in recent times. Games like Clash Royale already have competitive leagues with popular organisations taking part. Gear.Club now joins the list with the GameOn Masters: Gear.Club 2018 featuring Pagani.
