How do you land that dream job in esports? With the industry growing at an almost alarming rate, there are more roles emerging all the time with more talent across the board required to sustain and continue this growth.

Misfits Gaming – Berlin, Germany – Arena Staff – Full-Time and Part-Time roles

Misfits Gaming, best known for their success in the EU LCS, Europe’s premier League of Legends Misfits Arenatournament, the team has grown in recent years with the team competing across multiple events in a multitude of games around the world. Misfits recently announced they would open The Misfits Arena in Berlin, Germany. The arena will see pro player, streamers and fans come together, with the Berlin-based Misfits EU LCS team making appearances at the venue to compete with fans.

For the role, Misfits are seeking people based in Berlin, with at least 6 months of retail experience, a fluency in English and German, both written and spoken form and a passion for esports. Being pretty good at some of the games on display at the arena is seen as a major bonus, also.

Fnatic – London, United Kingdom – Social Media Lead – Full-Time

Fnatic is one of the most well-known brands in esports. The UK based organisation have sides representing them across all manner of titles and can be seen at the finals of most major esports titles, if you want to work in one of the best cities in the world, for one of its most well-known organisations, then this job could be for you.

Social media is important for a modern business, with esports, it’s ingrained into a team’s identity. The memes, the banter and the fan interaction. This is no 9-5, Fnatic needs you in-house, tuned into the scene and to be at one with their audience. Exceptional written and oral English, well-organised and flexible and with an interest in taking Fnatic on their journey through esports with your words via social media.

Method – Remote – Social Media Manager – Part-Time

Method, an esports team most famous for its impeccable history in World of Warcraft. From world 1st raid clears to WoW Arena championships. In that last few years Method has begun a transition into a multi-game organisation, taking part in the Gfinity Elite Series, Heroes of the Storm and now, the Battle Royale genre.

If a role in social media is a dream, maybe our previous job needed too much experience, Method might just be the place to give you that platform. The team is looking for someone remote, who is available at varied times especially during tournaments and other major Method events. native English speaker, knowledge of Method, World of Warcraft and a working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop (And a current licence/subscription). The role also allows you to work at one of the UK’s most promising organisations, and one that is currently very active – with news of two partnerships in the last few weeks alone, including ZAM and MSI.
