ReKTGlobal announces Rudy Gobert as investor

ReKTGlobal, the parent company of North American organisation Rogue and the London Call of Duty franchise, has announced French basketball player Rudy Gobert as its latest investor.

The Utah Jazz basketballer will “support the growth and continued global expansion of ReKTGlobal and Rogue” through co-hosted live streams, content, and partnerships.

League of Legends esports adds Red Bull as global partner

Riot Games unveiled Red Bull as the official energy drink partner of its global League of Legends events.

This is an expansion of a partnership between Riot Games and Red Bull that already included LEC and CBLOL. As part of the expansion, the energy drink brand will be a partner of the World Championship, Mid-Season Invitational, and All-Star Event.

League of Legends esports adds OPPO as smartphone partner

Riot Games also announced OPPO as the global smartphone partner of League of Legends esports.

The multi-year deal – which lasts through to 2024 – will see OPPO sponsor the World Championship, Mid-Season Invitational, and All-Star Event.

Rick Fox files extensive complaint towards Echo Fox partners

Rick Fox, Founder of Echo Fox has filed a civil complaint against the organisation’s business partners citing new allegations of fraud, deceptive business practices, and racism.

Fox filed the lawsuit on September 30th in a Los Angeles County court, targeting Amit Raizada and Stratton Sclavos, seeking upwards of $10 million (£8.1 million) in damages and a jury trial.

ELEAGUE to broadcast Rocket League series on TBS

ELEAGUE, as part of its partnership with Psyonix, has announced a Rocket League series that will air on TBS.

The series follows nine teams as they travel to compete in the recent Rocket League World Championship, starting October 4th.
