The platform currently contains solutions for fixed esports odds, streamer betting, and esports fantasy with proprietary casino games on the way. Pinnacle’s role will see it “help fuel the esports betting vertical with its vast experience in esports, trading and risk management,” according to a release.

Ben Bradtke, COO and CPO of Askott Entertainment, commented on the partnership: “Having Pinnacle as a partner to support our esports fixed-odds vertical will allow us to guarantee a level of operational excellence that is needed in this young market to create commercial value for our clients.”

Askott Entertainment plans to continue offering more classic betting verticals with the addition of two proprietary products this year to meet the demands of the rapidly-growing esports and streaming audiences. Beyond its iGaming platform, the company has maintained a strong position with previous investments in Splyce and Upcomer.

Marco Blume, Trading Director of Pinnacle, added: “We have worked closely with Askott on the development of our new API and are happy to transform this pilot project into a long-term partnership. Askott combines the best of passion for esports, tech and igaming and we are happy that our product can be used to enhance their offering.”

Esports Insider says: With this partnership, it’s possible we’ll see some new, exciting betting markets on Pinnacle’s platform very soon. The intersection of esports and betting is one buzzing with activity and growth – it’s great to see companies pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the space and what the future of this sector will hold.
