GRID esports and Live Media eSports Entertainment have partnered to deliver data and products for the likes of CS:GO and Dota 2 in South America.
The new partnership marks GRID’s 32nd data deal in the past three months but is its first in Latin America, according to a release.

Charles Hanley-Nickolls, Vice President of Sponsorships at GRID, stated in a release: “Our vision to bring all esports data to a wider audience becomes much clearer with partnerships with the likes of Live Media. Our mutually aligned goals and the subsequent agreement marks a giant step towards providing the Latin American audience with the data and products they expect.”
Live Media eSports Entertainment has been a contributor towards the growth of sports viewership over the last three years. Liga Pro Gaming, produced by Live Media, launched in Peru in 2018 before expanding to develop leagues in South America, Mexico, and Central America.

Luis Carrillo Pinto, CEO of Live Media eSports Entertainment, added: “Unlike other market proposals in Latin American esports, we understand each country’s and its community’s idiosyncrasy. We know which esports work and which do not. To address this, we have managed the licenses with the most important publishers and we have the talents and influencers who are really followed by the fans in each specific region.
“Now our partnership with a company of GRID’s pedigree we can bring our competitive data to our amazing fans and give them new ways to interact with their favorite players, teams, and leagues.”
Esports Insider says: The partnership between GRID and Live Media is promising for esports in LATAM. By opting out of publisher exclusivity, the team can accurately accumulate data for titles that are thriving in specific regions. GRID’s business expertise should well be a valuable asset to Live Media.
