Call of Duty League franchise New York Subliners and controller company SCUF Gaming have announced a partnership that echoes other deals in the league.
The new deal labels SCUF Gaming as the team’s official controller and gaming accessories partner.
Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed at the time of writing, however the partnership will include specialised controllers for the Subliners players as well as unique digital content. The Subliners-themed controller continues the yellow and black identity of the team and will also be available for fans to purchase.
New York Subliners’ parent company Andbox has collaborated with a plethora of brands from both inside and outside of esports, including MTN DEW AMP GAME FUEL, United Airlines, T-Mobile, Buffalo Wild Wings, Nike, and Coca-Cola. SCUF Gaming is one of the few endemic partners of the organisation and it also has deals in place with other Call of Duty League franchises – namely Chicago Huntsmen, Atlanta FaZe, OpTic Gaming, Toronto Ultra, and the league itself.
The New York Subliners-branded controller will join SCUF Gaming’s larger Call of Duty League 2020 Collection, with options for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Esports Insider says: New York Subliners partnering with SCUF is another fantastic way to help create a bridge between the team and fans, putting physical products in the hands of supporters. It provides SCUF Gaming with another marketing opportunity in the Call of Duty League, but allows for more specific and targeted activations.
