The sponsorship division of HomeSweetHome (HSH) has brokered a multi-tournament partnership between esports gambling platform Gamdom and a selection of Relog Media’s 2021 events.
The deal sees Gamdom become the sole sportsbook brand of all HSH CS:GO and Dota tournaments in the first quarter of 2021.
In addition, the wagering platform will be integrated into the HSH’s events, via logo placement, as well as the company’s odds being prevalent during the tournaments. According to the press release, Gamdom’s branding will also appear in the game textures, meaning that its logo will be seen in specific locations during matches.
Felix Römer, Gamdom’s CEO commented on the partnership: “Gamdom is thrilled to attach our name to the Home Sweet Home and Relog brand.
“Gamdom is the greatest place for esports fans to have unique and engaging experiences while grabbing a share of the action. Our sponsorship is designed to increase the prize pool for the event, attract the top teams, and in turn give the fans the excitement they crave.”
HomeSweetHome announced its return at the end of last year when Serbian-based production team Relog Media secured the licensing of the brand from Data platform GRID Esports. The series, which is expected to run throughout 2021, has already signed contracts with a range of organisations for its upcoming events.
GRID has remained a part of HomeSweetHome as a data partner.
Marko Jovanvic, Relog Media’s Head of Esports and Business Development, added: “Gamdom is truly a legacy esports betting site and has one of the largest player bases of true CSGO and DOTA enthusiasts in the ecosystem.
“It shows where the Nine to Five and Relog’s brand has grown and is going when we first conceptualised the series. With the help of our partners (at HSH) we are able to bring Gamdom directly into the centre of every major play by integrating their branding directly into the game.”
Gamdom, founded in 2017, provides traditional esports offerings alongside a range of other gaming-specific gambling options. This includes allowing players to deposit CS:GO, and DOTA skins in return for gambling currency.
Esports Insider says: Seeing Relog Media secure a headline partner for its upcoming HSH events highlights how much the production company has grown over the last few years. The partnership also highlights the growing trend of gambling companies starting to integrate themselves into the esports ecosystem.
