CSL Esports strengthens business development team

North American collegiate esports firm CSL Esports has strengthened its Business Development team with the additions of Jourdan Kirby, formerly of NHL team Florida Panthers, and Jake Amodio.

Kirby will serve as CSL Esport’s Manager of Business Development, whilst Amodio has been named the firm’s Coordinator for Client Services.

According to the release, Kirby will be responsible for ‘cultivating and maintaining business relationship with new and existing clients’, whilst also finding potential new opportunities to grow the CSL Esports brand. 

Kirby joins the firm from NHL team Florida Panthers, where he spent two seasons as an Account Executive in the partnership team. He has previously served as a Sales Executive for MLB team Miami Marlins and graduated from Syracuse University.

We will rely heavily on his experience with brand campaigns, communicating with clients, and implementing strategies that help us and our partners achieve our goals.”

Amodio will assist the CSL Esports Client Services Team in relationship management, revenue and business development, and also research and analysis.

He joins from the University of Notre Dame Athletics, where he served as its Assistant Director of Marketing for three seasons. Previously, he has held roles at Mississippi State University and the University of Rhode Island.

His experience in overseeing budgeting and planning events and programmes is expected to bolster CSL Esports’ relationship management and programme ideation.
