NBA 2K League franchise Kings Guard Gaming partners with Acronis

NBA 2K League franchise Kings Guard Gaming has announced a cyber protection partnership with global technology company Acronis.

The partnership, which is supported by information technology company Executech, will see Acronis provide the Kings with AI-driven cyber protection solutions designed to safeguard data and optimise data workflows.

The partnership will also span across the Sacramento Kings, Kings Guard Gaming’s associated NBA franchise. According to the release, the partnership is expected to ‘improve the team’s performance both on and off the court’.

Sacramento Kings President of Business Operations John Rinehart commented on the deal in a release: “We are excited to announce our newest Cloud Partnership with Acronis and Executech. Leveraging Acronis’ global expertise to enhance data storage and backup security will allow us to continue revolutionising fan experiences while reducing disruptions to day-to-day business operations.”

The agreement will additionally see Executech become a primary jersey sponsor of Kings Guard Gaming. Moreover, both Acronis and Executech branding will be present throughout the team’s home matches and on social media content for the next three NBA 2K League seasons.
