EXCEL Esports secures partnership with YOYOTECH

British esports organisation EXCEL Esports has named UK-based computer manufacturer YOYOTECH as its official PC hardware partner.

As part of the agreement, both parties will work together on creating an EXCEL-branded PC. Moreover, the YOYOTECH logo will also be featured on the organisation’s team jerseys when attending esports tournaments in Europe.

YOYOTECH will also provide EXCEL Esports’ athletes with customised computers from its XL PC product range. The deal applies to EXCEL Esports’ rosters in League of Legends, Fortnite, VALORANT and FIFA, as well as its esports facilities in Twickenham, Berlin and London.

EXCEL’s Commercial Director, Mark Carter, commented: “At EXCEL we always strive to be better today than we were yesterday, and provide our players with top-class equipment to perform at their best. YOYOTECH is the obvious choice as the class leader for esports hardware, and we are delighted to announce our partnership with such a trusted supplier.

“With shared values of inspiring current and future generations of gamers, we’re excited to develop a partnership that drives esports forwards as an accessible and inclusive space for casual gamers to experienced pros.”

Earlier this year, EXCEL Esports also recently revealed a partnership with UK-based sports fashion retailer JD SPORTS.

Founded in 2002, YOYOTECH focuses on manufacturing custom-built high-performance PCs, as well as providing complete esports solutions to esports arenas, private businesses and educational establishments.

James Fraser-Murison, Esports Advisor and Business Manager of YOYOTECH, added: “We are excited to announce our partnership with EXCEL Esports. It’s great to work alongside a globally recognisable organisation, that shares our objectives to be the best and trusts in the quality of our hardware.

“YOYOTECH offers a complete esports solution, from PCs to arena builds, and this partnership will put us firmly on the global map with our fans and customers.”

Esports Insider says: As EXCEL Esports continues to grow, it also keeps expanding and refining its commercial portfolio. The deal with YOYOTECH looks similar to EXCEL’s previous agreement with PC company Chillblast in 2020, however, this new partnership looks to also focus on greater marketing opportunities when it comes to the organisation’s esports operations.
