Esports performance consultant agency Achieveminds has announced a partnership with Talent Pathway iD (TPiD), a research-driven technology company that uses AI to provide organisations with data insights.

As a result of the deal, the two companies will look to create an improved data-driven and holistic approach to esports coaching and player development.

TPiD uses AI data analytics to enable individuals and teams to understand important developmental factors for athletes. In particular, the system ranks data sets in order of importance to produce a pattern of the most important set of variables that bolster optimal talent development and success.

According to a release, these data insights will allow Achieveminds to further support esports athletes and identify, develop and deliver the most important performance factors.

This is TPiD’s first venture into esports. However, the company did recently hire Robin McCammon, former Chief Commercial Officer of British organisation EXCEL ESPORTS, as its Chairman.

Within traditional sports, TPiD’s system is currently being used by Canoe Wales. Moreover, the company states that its services have been used to help understand player selection in academy rugby, as well as tackle selection biases in weightlifting.

Founded in 2021 by Fabian Broich (also formerly of EXCEL ESPORTS), Achieveminds’ clientele portfolio includes approximately 30 players. Most notably this includes League of Legends athletes Elias ‘Upset’ Lipp, Patrik ‘Patrik’ Jírů, Adrian ‘Trymbi’ Trybus and Erlend ‘nukeduck’ Våtevik Holm, according to its website.

Through this newly-established partnership with TPiD, the agency looks to scale up and expand its offerings to players.

Broich commented: “TPiD aligns with the core values of mine, they combine scientific research that instils confidence, personal experiences from years of work in talent development, and cutting edge applied methods to create individual KPIs for athletes and coaches.

“The system allows us to gain a detailed understanding about the players baseline. We then begin to build a detailed picture along with the player and TPiD’s AI technology helps to create real-time, dynamic and specifically designed recommendations and action steps to allow the players to grow to the next best version of themselves.”
