HUDstats is a data company that uses computer vision to extract data from live esports broadcasts. The data is distributed to clients providing them with statistics on what’s happening during a match. The company also utilises AI to create dashboards to display the data and a range of content.

In 2022, HUDstats secured a multi-year partnership with betting service provider Sports Information Services (SIS) to create real-time data for virtual basketball and football matches that will be used in esports betting products. April 2024 saw the company transition from OpenAI to Amazon Bedrock for its AI offerings.

HUDstats is no stranger to the esports industry. The company has collaborated with the likes of DreamHack Sports Games and the KNVB (Royal Dutch Football Federation) to use its AI and data offerings to enhance broadcasts.

Burns, the newly-appointed Board Advisor of HUDstats, spoke on his role: “HUDstats is really carving out a niche in the gaming world right now. They’re not just developing some really impressive AI-driven tech, but they’re also using it to dream up some really innovative gaming experiences.

“They have just the right blend of technology and creativity, and I’m really happy to be part of their team and contribute to the future of gaming technology and storytelling.”
