Esports data and odds provider Abios has secured a multi-year partnership with major online betting operator Kindred Group.

As a result, Abios will supply its esports betting product — which includes odds, data, widgets and always-on content — to Kindred Group’s Unibet and 32Red brands.

Abios, owned by sports betting company Kambi, will use its parent company’s Odds Feed+ API to provide a high-uptime odds feed for esports titles such as Counter-Strike 2, League of Legends, Dota 2 and VALORANT. The partnership will also include odds for eSoccer and eBasketball coverage.

Abios’ odds feed allows brands to create offers such as bet builders and player props from official esports tournament data.

Interestingly, this isn’t the first time that Abios and Kindred have teamed up. The two companies already have an exciting deal in which Abios provides its esports odds service to Kindred as part of Kambi’s Turnkey Sportsbook product.

“We are delighted to strengthen our partnership with Unibet and the wider Kindred Group, a leader in the global sports betting and gaming market,” commented Anton Janér, Managing Director and Co-founder of Abios.

“This agreement showcases the value of Abios’ full esports odds packages and our ability to deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of operators and enables them to reach new audiences through the growth of esports.”

Since Abios was purchased by Kambi Group for £22m in 2021, the company has secured various deals with sportsbook and esports stakeholders. This includes partnerships with the likes of Team Vitality, GRID and Svenska Spel.

Earlier this year, Abios and gambling newsletter Sharpr also highlighted the importance of Counter-Strike 2 within the betting community. This was through the duo’s Global Esports Betting Monitor quarterly report.

Ben Colley, Sportsbook Director of Kindred Group, added: “Esports continues to grow in popularity, and it’s essential that we offer our customers the best possible experience in this exciting category.”
