Team Vitality and case opening platform Skin.Club have announced their support of the Elite FE tournament, a women’s Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) competition series.

Organised by streamer and Elite FE founder Minaleyy, the tournament series aims to promote diversity and inclusion within the esports industry by increasing the visibility of female talent.

The event will kick off on February 23rd and is set to be held every two months, giving professional teams an opportunity to warm up ahead of the upcoming ESL Impact season, ESL’s women’s CS2 league. The schedule is:

  • February 23rd
  • April 20th
  • June 15th
  • August 10th
  • October 12th
  • December 14th

Taking place on the FACEIT platform, the tournament will see 16 international women’s teams, including four selected by Minaleyy, compete for €1000 (~£833) in prize money per Elite FE iteration. In addition, the winning team will receive several prizes, such as Team Vitality merchandise and gaming equipment.

Minaleyy will be hosting the competition, delivering debriefs, game analysis and video content together with various casters such as Alexis ‘aunni’ DoreyNagu, Victor ‘Veek’ Bretot, Miss Pikatchette and Maxime ‘Supervodka’ Lucchesi.

French content creator Léa ‘Minaleyy’ Mussault has been involved in the CS2 scene for several years, founding Elite FE in 2024 to uplift female players in the community.

Interestingly, the winner of last year’s Elite FE event was Team Pigeons, whose roster later transferred to Brazilian esports organisation Imperial Fe. The team then became the first women’s roster to qualify for IEM Katowice this year.

However, the Elite FE events are designed for both professional and amateur teams to provide a training ground for aspiring professional players. With its tournaments, Elite Fe strives to establish itself as an essential platform for CS2 players.

Esports organisation Team Vitality was founded in 2013 and competes in CS2 as well as other titles. Vitality has been partnered with CS case-opening platform Skin.Club since August 2024. This year, the organisation welcomed notable esports names Ardis ‘Ardiis’ Svarenieks and Jacob ‘Pimp’ Winneche as ambassadors.

Moreover, Vitality has been a driving force within women’s esports, having signed women’s rosters in League of Legends and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. Last year, the company also launched a campaign with supermarket chain ALDI to combat toxicity towards women in esports.
