NAVI has announced that its NAVI Junior Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) roster has been put up for sale.
In addition to the sale of the Ukrainian esports organisation’s academy roster, Drin ‘Makazze’ Shaqiri has joined the main roster’s starting line-up.
In the announcement, the organisation revealed that it will be accepting offers from any interested parties to purchase the remaining members of the NAVI Junior roster, including its Valve Regional Standings (VRS) ranking. The most recent update to the standings currently places the team in 27th.
While the rest of NAVI Junior is up for sale, Makazze will continue his playing career as part of the main roster. Notably, the organisation is yet to reveal which member of the existing line-up he is replacing.
“The limitations of the CS ecosystem do not allow the academy team to further develop under the NAVI tag,” read a statement.
“Which is why we now accept offers to buy the NAVI Junior roster, including four players, a coach, and a ranking eligible for Major invites.”
Formed in May 2024, NAVI Junior immediately made an impact over the past 12 months, securing several tournament wins, including YaLLa Compass, the first European series for the Thunderpick World Championship, and two wins in the CCT Season 3 European Series.
What Next For NAVI Counter-Strike?
NAVI is one of 16 teams competing at IEM Cologne, taking place from July 23rd to August 3rd, 2025. The event will mark Makazze’s debut on the main roster.
In the weeks leading up to Cologne, NAVI is expected to announce which player Makazze will replace. Additionally, the organisation has revealed plans to rebuild another iteration of NAVI Junior to compete in Counter-Strike events.
While NAVI is selling its academy roster, The MongolZ has recently unveiled its own team of young players looking to make an impact on the international scene.
