The announcement follows an X post published on June 25th, 2025, teasing the arrival of the academy roster.

The MongolZ is the latest organisation to field an academy roster to develop the talent of young esports players. In the last 12 months, the likes of NAVI and Gen.G have expanded their efforts to develop the next generation of players aiming to compete on the international stage.
The Growth Of Mongolian Counter-Strike
Counter-Strike in Mongolia has continued to grow at an impressive rate, with The MongolZ spearheading the charge following its appearance in the Grand Final of the Austin Major.
In addition to The MongolZ, Chinggis Warriors is also representing the country on the international stage. The team managed to qualify for Stage 1 of the Austin Major after winning the regional qualifier for the event in April.
With The MongolZ academy roster ready to compete, it will be interesting to see how it performs against the more established names in CS2 esports.
