UK esports organisation Endpoint has entered a partnership with meal replacement brand Soylent.

Players that represent the organisation trialed the product in 2018 prior to the partnership being made, they also used Soylent products for 10 days during a bootcamp ahead of a tournament.

Adam Jessop, CEO of Endpoint spoke to Esports Insider about the deal: “We are extremely pleased to be working in partnership with Soylent following our recent successful activation. Soylent were key to our success over the summer, and we feel that they share our vision of a UK Counter Strike team competing amongst the worlds best. Our absolute aim for 2019 is to keep breaking the mould within UK CS and continuing to build on the foundations we have in place.

“As an innovative product and brand, they have created a new market for themselves within the on-the-go food market, and the result is a product that our gamers can utilise to ensure they are getting the nutrients they need whilst competing at home or events worldwide. We look forward to working closely with them throughout 2019.”

Endpoint is also partnered with ASUS Republic of Gamers, noblechairs, NAU drinks, and Overclockers UK. The organisation currently fields competitors in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Batallion 1944.

Andrew Thomas, VP of Brand Marketing at Soylent also discussed the deal: “Helping people on their path to success is at the core of our brand. The Endpoint team is on the cusp of becoming one of the most successful esports teams in the UK, therefore, this partnership was a no-brainer. After all, Soylent has been developed to help people dodge food voids, which is our way of describing those situations in which you make unwise food decisions you’ll likely regret. Food Voids are usually borne out of a lack of time to find a healthy meal, so it was a natural fit for us to help fuel the Endpoint’s success with our ready-to-drink meals, which contain the nutrition they need when training and competing.”

Esports Insider says: Endpoint has lofty ambitions of becoming one of top organisations in the industry and acquiring partners will provide some much-needed support. Being based in the UK ourselves, it’s great to see companies supporting and believing in a local organisation.
