OpTic Texas has continued its flawless start to the CDL Major 2 2026 qualifiers with two more victories in the third week of matches.

The defending Call of Duty League (CDL) champion sits at the top of the table with six straight wins as it closes in on securing the top seed for the second LAN event of the season.

Over the course of the three weeks, the Green Wall has conceded four maps across six best-of-five series, earning a win rate of 81% in online matches. OpTic Texas began week three by facing off against the Los Angeles Thieves. Los Angeles struck first with a 250-238 win on Den Hardpoint before its opponent answered back with a 6-2 victory on Exposure Search and Destroy, followed by a 4-2 win on Den Overload to take the lead.

Colossus Hardpoint was a more one-sided contest, with OpTic Texas winning 250-173 to wrap up a comfortable 3-1 lead to open its week three campaign.

A struggling Vancouver Surge looked to score a valuable win, but OpTic Texas showed its class with three straightforward wins to secure a 3-0 sweep and keep its undefeated Major 2 record intact.

OpTic Texas Continues Momentum

After ending the Major 1 qualifiers with the sixth seed, OpTic Texas has rediscovered its form with a dominant showing in the Major 2 qualifiers. The Major 1 runners-up head into the final two weeks of qualifiers in a prime position to secure the top seed for the Major 2 LAN taking place at DreamHack Birmingham.

The Green Wall will face off against Paris Gentle Mates in a rematch of the Major 1 Grand Final in the fifth week of qualifiers, taking place from March 13th to 15th. With Paris Gentle Mates scoring a shock 3-0 defeat to Toronto KOI, OpTic Texas has a chance to extend its streak with another victory.
