Esports organisation Tribe<\/strong> Gaming<\/strong> has partnered with electronics manufacturer Samsung<\/strong> for a creator-focused live gaming event called Mission<\/strong>: Galaxy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n\n\n
The event will take place in Las Vegas on March 6th and will feature mobile content creators competing in several ‘mobile gaming challenges’ for a prize pool of $15,000 (~\u00a312,500).<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n\n\n
Tribe and Samsung did not announce what games will be played.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n\n\n
Samsung’s mobile division, Samsung Gaming, first partnered with Tribe Gaming in September 2022. <\/a>The partnership mostly saw Tribe players use Samsung devices for competing and content creation, and the upcoming event is one of the first in-person activations created jointly by the two brands.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n\n\n
The event itself will see two teams comprised of gaming creators compete in a set of challenges, while using Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra phones. The teams will include well-known creators such as Orange Juice Gaming, Cori, Natwithaheart and Waseem.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n\n\n
Tribe Gaming is one of the largest dedicated mobile esports organisations in North America and the world. The company has notably partnered with car manufacturer Ford<\/a> and communications platform Discord<\/a> in the past, and is known for its success in a large number of mobile titles, such as Clash Royale, Brawl Stars and Call of Duty Mobile. <\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n\n\n\n
Samsung has also recently been announced as the presenting sponsor of the Snapdragon Pro Series, one of the largest mobile esports tournaments in the world.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n\n\n
The company is also a notable partner of a large number of esports brands, ranging from Guild Esports <\/a>and Tribe Gaming to Team Vitality <\/a>and the ESL FACEIT Group. Samsung is a TV partner for Vitality, and a mobile gaming partner for the Snapdragon Pro Series.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n\n\n
Mobile esports is a fast-growing vertical of the esports industry<\/a>, particularly in the Eastern world. Mobile esports titles such as Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), Free Fire and PUBG Mobile regularly see millions of concurrent viewers for esports tournaments. <\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n\n\n\n\n\n
