North American esports organisation Complexity Gaming<\/strong> has signed a partnership with blockchain platform Sonic<\/strong>, developed by Sonic Labs.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n\n\n
As Complexity’s blockchain partner, Sonic will be integrated into the organisation\u2019s branding, tournaments and community initiatives.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n\n\n

The blockchain solution will receive a logo placement on Complexity\u2019s jerseys and livestream banners. Moreover, Sonic will be integrated into the company\u2019s tournament coverage and highlights throughout the year.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n\n\n
\n \nSonic will also be included in the Complexity web3 fan application built on the new Sonic network. The app aims to elevate interactions between Complexity fans and their favourite team and players, featuring weekly and monthly \u2018quests\u2019 with rewards.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n\n\n
\n \nThe collaboration will commence with the first Sonic Community Night on August 30th. The new community initiative, developed by Sonic, includes live-stream community gaming events and video highlights shared across several platforms.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n\n\n
\n \nSonic will also sponsor Complexity\u2019s monthly Counter-Strike NA Revival Series tournaments and the Counter-Strike NA LAN event planned to take place in May 2025.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n\n\n
\n \nSonic Labs, previously known as the Fantom Foundation, is the operator behind the Sonic blockchain platform. Specialising in Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) chains, Sonic is set to launch towards the end of 2024.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n\n\n
\n \nFounded in 2003, Complexity Gaming is one of esports\u2019 longest-standing organisations known for its competitive achievements in various games, such as Counter-Strike, Halo and Rocket League. The company has previously worked with the US Army<\/a>, sports social media platform Playmaker<\/a> and retail chain H-E-B<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n\n\n
\n \nIn March 2024, Complexity\u2019s Founder, Jason Lake<\/strong>, re-acquired the organisation<\/a> after selling Complexity to GameSquare in 2021.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n\n\n
\n \nComplexity\u2019s investment in web3 and blockchain is unsurprising as the company expressed interest in the field related to the appointment of Adam Rivera as a Web3 Gaming Advisor<\/a> earlier this year.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n\n\n
