This includes the likes of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/esportsinsider.com\/2024\/12\/eafc-esports-world-cup-2025\">EA FC 25<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/esportsinsider.com\/2024\/12\/esports-world-cup-call-of-duty-league\">Call of Duty<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/esportsinsider.com\/2024\/12\/dota-2-esports-world-cup-2025\">Dota 2<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/esportsinsider.com\/2024\/12\/counter-strike-2-esports-world-cup-2025-line-up\">Counter-Strike 2<\/a>, with more titles likely announced.<\/p>\n\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-6788b8ec1a68a\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n    \n<p>Last year\u2019s Rocket League event at the EWC 2024 saw 16 teams compete for a prize pool of $500,000 (~\u00a3395,000). Team BDS claimed a large chunk of the prize pool, securing $200,000 by defeating Team Falcons in the Grand Finals.<\/p>\n\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-6788b8ec1b101\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n    \n<p>Recently, there have been discussions <a href=\"https:\/\/esportsinsider.com\/2024\/11\/rocket-league-esports-sustainability-problem\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/esportsinsider.com\/2024\/11\/rocket-league-esports-sustainability-problem\">questioning the sustainability of Rocket League esports<\/a>, with some organisations departing the scene. For 2025, developer Psyonix has <a href=\"https:\/\/esportsinsider.com\/2024\/09\/rlcs-2025-format-changes\">increased its total event prize pool to $5m<\/a>, alongside <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rocketleague.com\/en\/news\/rlcs-2025-updates\">launching other initiatives<\/a> to build a sustainable competitive ecosystem<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rocketleague.com\/en\/news\/rlcs-2025-updates\"> <\/a>for the title.<\/p>\n\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-6788b8ec1bb59\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n    \n<p>Mobile Legends: Bang Bang was one of <a href=\"https:\/\/esportsinsider.com\/2024\/08\/esports-world-cup-2024-viewership\">Esports World Cup&#8217;s most popular games last year,<\/a> with the 2024 Mid-Season Cup garnering a peak of 2.38m viewers. The event, which was won by Selangor Red Giants, featured a $3m (~\u00a32.4m) prize pool.<\/p>\n\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-6788b8ec1c599\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n    \n<p>Last year\u2019s MLBB Women\u2019s Invitational saw women\u2019s teams from 12 countries compete for its  $550,000 (~\u00a3428,647) prize pool. The event reached a peak viewership of 265,117 viewers, making it the <a href=\"https:\/\/escharts.com\/tournaments?esports=1&amp;female=1&amp;order=peak\">sixth most-watched women&#8217;s esports event ever<\/a>. Both MSC and MWI are set to return for the 2025 edition of the event.<\/p>\n\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-6788b8ec1cff0\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n    \n<p>On MLBB\u2019s Esports World Cup return in 2025, <strong>Ray Ng, Head of Esports Ecosystem at MOONTON Games<\/strong>, commented: \u201c2024 marked the first time that the MSC and MWI ventured outside of Southeast Asia \u2013 a milestone moment for MLBB esports.
