The first-ever Evo Award Show<\/strong> aims to celebrate and honor the fighting game community. Taking place in Los Angeles on February 15th<\/strong>, this invite-only event will feature awards across 22 categories<\/strong>, Hall of Fame inductions, and exciting showcases.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n\n\n
The Evo Awards Pre-Show, hosted by Tasty Steve and Hollywood RobTV, kicks off at 5 PM PT<\/strong> on Evo\u2019s official Twitch<\/a> and YouTube<\/a> channels. Special guests, including Maximilian Dood, Faye Mata and Evo Award nominees, will also join the show.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n\n\n

During the event, three FGC Legends\u2014Tokido, John Choi and Alex Valle<\/strong>\u2014will be inducted into the Evo Hall of Fame.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n\n\n
Viewers will catch world premieres from major publishers during the show, including Cygames for Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising<\/strong>, Arc System Works for HUNTER\u00d7HUNTER NEN\u00d7IMPACT<\/strong> and UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II Sys:Celes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n\n\n
In addition to this, attendees will get an exclusive hands-on demo<\/strong> of SNK\u2019s upcoming title, FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves<\/strong>. The game’s open beta will run from February 20th to 24th. A sneak peek<\/strong> of the Capcom Fighting Collection 2 <\/strong>will also be showcased, featuring Project Justice, Power Stone 2, Capcom vs. SNK 2 and more.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n\n\n

This award show will be followed by massive esports tournaments. Evo<\/strong> will return to Tokyo Big Sight, Japan<\/strong>, from May 9th to 11th<\/strong>, featuring STREET FIGHTER III: 3rd STRIKE – Fight for the Future and Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. Fans will also be able to tune in to the largest FGC event<\/a> of the year at Las Vegas Convention Center<\/strong> from August 1st to 3rd<\/strong>. Event registrations are now open at evo.gg<\/a> and audience tickets will go on sale on February 15th.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n\n\n
