The collaboration comes as North are set to compete at the ELEAGUE Major: Boston where they start in the “New Legends Stage” and will be hoping to place well. Earlier, Esports Insider reported that Orlando John, the talent management agency had signed North to its books. According to Esports Observer reports, the team will play as North GG.Bet in all applicable tournaments and the agreement is a high-six figure deal.

Damir Dedic, Partnerships Manager of GG.Bet commented in a release: “We are very proud and excited to start this partnership with North. As a company, we always seek to support the growth of esports and provide a safe and fair betting experience to our customers. By working together with North we are hoping to bring fans closer to the action than ever before by providing exclusive content that will allow viewers to get a close look behind the scenes.”

Christian Sorensen, CEO of North stated: “North is a brand that is built on two core principles: Excellence in managing performance groups and being the best at telling that story, and we have approached the search for a main sponsor with that in mind.”

He continued: “We have been looking for a company that didn’t only understood the vision behind North, but also wanted to give back to the community. In GG.Bet we found a partner that understands and supports esports, which will allow us to get our fans even closer to us in 2018.”

Esports Insider says: A big deal from GG.Bet as they add another team to their list of partnerships. This one’s a big one, too and the GG.Bet logo sitting on a shirt with the Adidas one doesn’t look shabby either. Best of luck to both parties on what’s sure to be a fruitful partnership.
