Cleveland Cavaliers’ NBA2K League team, Cavs Legion GC, have announced Raynor Group as the teams official gaming chair sponsor.
The announcement shows off a fully customized gaming chair featuring the Cavs Legion logo. As part of the deal, Raynor Group will provide chairs for all players and front office executives.
Anthony Muraco, Cavs Legion General Manager commented: “To be at our best when competing in the NBA2K League, our players need to feel comfortable and well supported throughout our day-to-day practice routine. The chair that our players sit in during play is of utmost importance to maintain constant energy and engagement, and we couldn’t be happier to partner with The Raynor Group and equip our team with the best seating in the esports industry during practice.”
While Raynor Group may be a fairly unknown name in gaming chairs, the company also has partnerships with Team Dignitas and fellow NBA2K League team, 76ers Gaming Club.
Marc Fries, President of Raynor Group discussed the partnership in a statement: “We are excited to join forces with Cavs Legion GC for the inaugural season of the NBA2K League. With their commitment to excellence in all areas of their franchise and our passion to create best in class gaming chairs, they are the perfect partner for our company.”
Cavs Legion is currently entering the third week of the NBA2K League as they travel once a week to New York City for regular season games. The team adds Raynor Group to a list of sponsors including Rocket Mortgage, Hot Pockets, Steel Series, and Alienware.
Esports Insider says: Raynor Group is a fairly unknown name in the realm of gaming peripherals, but what better way to make a statement in the scene than immediately invest in an NBA2K League team? The customization of its chairs is very appealing especially in the highly competitive market of gaming chairs.
