ELEAGUE has announced that it has expanded its partnership with the U.S. Air Force, marking the first time the tournament organiser has had an official armed forces partner across all platforms.
This new deal will see the U.S. Air Force once again sponsor the ELEAGUE CS:GO Premier, which takes place on July 21st-29th with $1,000,000 (£767,645) up for grabs.
As part of this expanded collaboration, the Air Force will host three branded integrations and placements, aiming to highlight the “strategy and skills recruits take on” when they join. These activations include creating custom video content at Air Force bases around the country to give an insight into this branch of the Armed Forces, a daily look at the tactics used during the CS:GO Premier, and a branded presentation when handing over the trophy to the winner of the tournament.
Seth Ladetsky, Senior Vice President of Sales for Turner Sports said the following in a statement about the expansion: “ELEAGUE goes to great lengths to bring on partners that have a natural connection to our fans and that understand that the esports community highly values authentic voices. The Air Force gets it and is a perfect fit; we are excited to be working with them in a deeper way and providing them a platform to articulate how they support the men and women of our country in their time of service.”
ELEAGUE is also partnered with the likes of Alienware, Boost Mobile, Cheez-iT, GEICO, HyperX, and Kraken Rum.
Esports Insider says: The ELEAGUE Premier has most of the best teams in the world in attendance so it’s safe to say a lot of eyes will be on the event – it’s a good opportunity for the U.S. Air Force to advertise itself to plenty of CS:GO fans.
