The announcement states the event will also serve as a launch for the organisation’s new Spanish layout versions of Fnatics popular gaming keyboards. During the viewing party fans in attendance will have the opportunity to try out the keyboards along with meet various Fnatic pros and influencers.

Erik Londré, Head of Events for Fnatic said: “At Fnatic, we really love to go the extra mile when it comes to making our fan events bigger and better each time. We’ve hosted parties, picnics, food trucks and secret pop-up shops at other events around the world – you name it and we’ve done it. For Madrid, we felt it was natural to celebrate Madrid’s amazing nightlife and food by opening our own bar. We can’t wait to meet our amazing fans in Madrid and showcase the new Gear products – finally available for Spanish gamers. Hala Madrid!”

Fnatic previously won the Spring Split Finals along with Rift Rivals and leads in the EU LCS Summer Split with a 13-5 record. Winner of the Summer Split Finals will get automatically invited to the World Championship in Korea in October.

Fnatic already also has its own storefront for merchandise around the organisation along with making distribution deals with Best Buy.

Esports Insider says: Fnatic is arguably one of the most recognisable names in esports and as such has capitalized regularly with its branded peripherals and storefront. Even though its League of Legends teams doesn’t consist of any Spaniards, this is certainly a good event to reach out directly to fans that may not be able to attend the actual event in person.
