North American esports organisation Renegades has entered a multi-year partnership with clothing manufacturer Champion.

Champion will design and create limited edition apparel collections throughout the course of the deal.

Jonas Jerebko, CEO of Renegades discussed the deal in a statement: “Champion’s authentic brand is a great fit for the Renegades. We are very excited to be working with the Champion brand and to be part of the heritage which has helped shape their long-term history and success.”

Renegades is also partnered with NVIDIA, HyperX, Alienware, and Twitch. The organisation houses competitors in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Fortnite, Halo, and Paladins.

Tyler Lewison, General Manager of Champion Teamwear also commented: “As an innovator in activewear design, Champion is thrilled to collaborate with an influential esports organization like Renegades to alter what it means to be an athlete in the modern world. Esports is an industry that continues to grow, and Champion is proud to be a part of that journey with Renegades.”

Champion has been building up its presence in the esports industry over the course of the last few months. In September last year, it became the official jersey, casual wear, and athletic wear provider of Dignitas, PlayVS announced Champion as its primary jersey provider back in October, and the brand become the apparel sponsor of the RMU Eagles in November.

Esports Insider says: At this rate, Champion will be a common name in the industry in no time. Creating solid apparel that doesn’t look specific to esports seems to be the trend for organisations as of late – Champion can definitely help Renegades with that.
