Speaking of the announcement, Fuchs said: “We’re extremely excited to be collaborating with Bidstack, they have a really good understanding of the gaming space and strong relationships with leading brands.

Currently, NFG esports are one of the biggest – if not the biggest – eFootball teams in the world, so we definitely feel there is potential for us to build strong and successful partnerships with global brands.”

Bidstack have worked with the likes of Football Manager, Soccer Manager and DiRT Rally 2.0, producing in-game pitchside advertising. In 2018, they hosted one of the first Football Manager esport events which featured a £20,000 prize-pool.

“We’re extremely excited to be collaborating with Bidstack; they have a really good understanding of the gaming space”

Speaking of the partnership with NFG, Bidstack CEO, James Draper said: “The partnership with NFG couldn’t have come at a better time for us, there is growing interest from advertisers to showcase their brands in the burgeoning world of esports – and we’re perfectly positioned to service that demand. Bidstack is an access point for brands into the world of gaming.

“Blending our core advertising proposition – programmatically selling the billboard spaces that sit naturally within the games themselves, alongside activations with esports teams like NFG, gives advertisers additional scope to interact with the gaming and esports community. We are looking forward to working with Christian and his talented team.”

NFG is currently the only esports team founded by a Premier League player, earlier this month Christian told us why he thinks athletes are betting big on esports.  Their roster features the likes of 2016 FIFA eWorld Cup Champion Mohamad Al-Bacha, FIFA Online influence Hibidi and female pro-gamer and Fulham Ladies footballer Laura Manley.

Esports Insider says: The partnership seems like a win-win for both sides. NFG get more publicity, and Bidstack adds another partnership to their portfolio. It’s likely we will see NFG adverts in some of Bidstack’s current gaming partnerships such as Football Manager.
