Speaking on this, Nico Maurer, CEO of Team Vitality said: “We’re extremely proud to welcome this group of talented individuals that will bring their expertise and experience in various fields such as sport, entertainment, events organisation, finance and retail.
“With their support, we’ll work hard to fulfil our incredible ambition to be recognised as one of the best esport team of the world.”

Gutierrez joins the team from Red Bull eSports where he was the International Head of esports, while Maillard was a Content Director with the Esports World Convention. Dupont has experience working for the likes of the French marketing agency, HOPSCOTCH Groupe where he was a Head of Partnerships in Sports and Entertainment and Manueco joins from Europe’s leading fashion platform, Zalando SE where she was a Senior Manager in Corporate Finance.
The announcement of the new additions follows the recent news that Team Vitality will be launching a high-tech HQ in Paris in partnership with HKS Inc.
Late last year, Vitality received a €20 million (£17m) investment from investment group Rewired.GG. That investment was intended to help the organisation achieve its aim of becoming a global leader in esports.
Esports Insider says: These are some impressive additions to the team and they make a lot of sense with the new Parisian HQ now in the works. We’re interested to see what new partnerships they can build and how they will develop and utilise their new venue when it opens.
