Myesports Ventures Ltd, the company behind The Gaming Stadium, has partnered with Super Channel – the company that operates GINX Esports TV Canada.
GINX Esports TV Canada will work with The Gaming Stadium to produce and broadcast exclusive content.
Spiro Khouri, VP of Sales & Marketing at The Gaming Stadium discussed the deal in a statement: “As esports in Canada continues to grow, it makes perfect sense to partner with the great team at GINX Esports TV Canada to bring new and diverse content to viewers across the country. Our venue allows us the chance to connect with the gaming community on a level never seen before in this country. By doing so, we will be able to share amazing stories of those individuals and teams through the GINX Esports TV Canada platform.”
The programming produced by the two companies will include “educational content, industry insider interviews, features on pro players and teams” and stories more relevant to The Gaming Stadium.
Don McDonald, President and CEO of Super Channel also commented: “We are very excited to take our Canadian esports programming to the next level by partnering with The Gaming Stadium. Since launching in 2017, GINX Esports TV Canada is the only channel in Canada to offer viewers 24/7 broadcast-quality esports and video gaming coverage. We are thrilled to now be able to bring new and engaging esports content from a Canadian perspective to our subscribers.”
The Gaming Stadium announced HyperX as its exclusive internals and peripherals partner earlier this month, resulting in it being kitted out with HyperX peripherals and accessories upon its launch on June 28th.
Esports Insider says: As The Gaming Stadium gears up to officially launch, it’s brought in two solid partners. The real judgement of this deal, however, will come from the content and quality of the programming that’s produced so we will have to wait and see.
