Online betting platform GG.Bet has announced its plans to host a Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament at gaming exhibition ICE London in February.
GG.Bet ICE Challenge, which will take place at the ExCel convention centre in London from February 4-6th, features eight CS:GO teams and a lofty $250,000 (£188,761) prize pool.

This year’s iteration of the event will see a large increase in scale comparatively to the GG.Bet ICE Challenge held at the conference in 2019. Last year’s make sported four teams and a $50,000 prize pot, half of which was awarded to the tournament’s winner, North.
The eight invited teams for this year’s GG.Bet ICE Challenge are Virtus.pro, Heroic, Natus Vincere, ENCE, GODSENT, mousesports, MAD Lions, and OG.

ICE London is an annual business-to-business gaming exhibition intended to explore the future of the betting industry alongside a high volume of solutions and professionals. Conversations at the intersection of esports and betting will be a hot topic, in which fittingly ICE London will see representation from one of the sector’s most glowing betting handles.
As for GG.Bet, the company opened up its operation with an esports-dedicated focus in August 2016. The betting platform has since grown to include traditional sports betting as well as virtual casino games. GG.Bet has previously established partnerships with North, Fnatic, Luminosity Gaming, Alliance, and a handful of others.
Esports Insider says: CS:GO remains one of the esports industry’s largest betting handles. Having a physical presence at ICE London should be an excellent way to open up more industry professionals to its reality.
