BLAST Bounty Hunt will feature a dynamic prize pool, additional bounties, and an interactive fan prediction game. Last month also saw a sponsorship with online bookmaker Betway announced for the event. The partnership will also see a number of SteelSeries products up for grabs during several giveaways planned across BLAST’s broadcast and social channels throughout the tournament.
Tim Ashton, European Head of Esports for SteelSeries, also commented on the deal: “BLAST have proven time and again that they’ve got what it takes to launch top tier tournaments and events, and we’re excited to be part of their first foray into Dota 2. This scene is a proud part of our heritage, and we can’t wait to see how the Dota 2 community engage with this exciting new addition.”
Esports Insider says: A strong team line-up alongside the announcement of two notable sponsors is a great sign for the potential success of BLAST Bounty Hunt. There is clearly a lot of faith in BLAST’s strengths as a tournament organiser, both from teams and commercial partners.
