Prodigy Agency receives €1m investment from Trust Esport

Esports talent agency Prodigy Agency has announced it has received €1m (£912,470) from esports venture capital fund Trust Esport.

The funding will be used to support its global expansion, recruit new team members, and to provide support to the agency’s representatives.

Prodigy Agency represents over 80 professional players across a range of titles including Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, VALORANT, and Rocket League. In 2020, the agency expanded its offerings by hiring Sami “Rico” Harbi to lead its expansion into representing League of Legends players.

Trust Esport was founded in 2018 and was created to support a range of innovative esports businesses that are working to develop a range of services for the industry.

Matthieu Dallon, Founder of Trust Esport, also spoke on the deal: “We saw in Jérôme Coupez, Manon Lagarrigue and the entire Prodigy team an extraordinary entrepreneurial energy and benevolence, which has created a unique bond of trust with the prodigies they represent; this strength, combined with an international project and an objective of sector leadership convinced us to invest in their company and to support their vision.”
