The partnership includes players from both sides sharing travel stories while also giving fans an insight into ‘a day in the life of the players as they travel around the world competing in esports events’.
HotelPlanner has also been named the Official Hotel Booking Partner of Immortals’ LCS team and MIBR’s CS:GO side.
An IGC spokesperson stated: “Our Immortals and MIBR teams are excited to partner with HotelPlanner, a true leader in the global travel industry. As travel resumes, we are confident that HotelPlanner will provide best-in-class service to our teams and passionate esports fans globally as they travel to root for their favourite teams and players.
“HotelPlanner’s partnership with IGC illustrates its commitment to support the rapidly growing esports ecosystem.”
In addition to the content, Immortals and MIBR players will also be given ‘aid in choosing the best hotel options around the world’ as a result of the partnership. The esports organisation has stated that during the pandemic unnecessary or unsafe travel by the company, leagues, and local health officials will be prohibited.
