Brazilian marketing and publicity company Gaming Culture has partnered with gaming monitor brand AOC to launch the second edition of Girl Pwr VALORANT, an all-female esports tournament.
The tournament has been announced as one of the events featured for VALORANT Game Changers, Riot Games’ support project to promote and develop the title’s female esports ecosystem. AOC will sponsor the event as part of the agreement.

The first edition was held last year and featured the likes of Fire Angels (now renamed INTZ Angels) and Vikings Female. This year, the prize pool has been doubled to R$20,000 (£2,510). Moreover, VALORANT caster Letícia ‘Let’ Motta is an ambassador for the event.
Registration for the Girl Pwr VALORANT is open, with tournament qualifiers set to commence on April 7th-8th. The eight best teams will qualify for the main event that will take place from April 15th – 18th. The main event will be broadcast on Gaming Culture’s Twitch channel.
AOC’s Marketing and Products Director, Bruno Morari, commented on the partnership in a release: “We are very proud to support yet another initiative that promotes the female presence in the gamer universe. We understand that, as market leaders, we need to take a position on causes that represent our values.

This is the second time AOC has sponsored a Brazilian VALORANT competition, with the first being Ultimasters AOC in January 2021. The peripherals company also sponsors Brazilian organisations such as FURIA and Red Canids, as well as having an expansive global portfolio featuring MAD Lions and Red Bull Racing Esports.
