The LCS, Riot Games’s North American League of Legends competition, has named Turtle Beach’s German peripherals brand ROCCAT as its first official mouse and keyboard partner.
The multi-year agreement sees ROCCAT provide mice and keyboards for the LCS Arena, as well as the competition’s PC café, the LCS Arcade.

Some of the products being integrated into the facilities include ROCCAT’s Elo series headsets, Vulcan keyboards, Burst gaming mice, and Sense mousepads, among others.
Matt Archambault, Head of Partnerships for NA & OCE Esports at Riot Games, added: “Being able to work with a brand that exhibits the same level of passion and focus toward their customers as we do with our players and fans is something special.
“We’ve seen first-hand the quality of ROCCAT’s lineup and know their products are designed for serious PC gamers. We can’t wait to get started creating and delivering rich experiences together for years to come.”
Other activations planned include a ‘fanart sweepstake’ in which fans can create LCS-themed designs. The winners will have their creations shown on ROCCAT mice and keyboards and exhibited in the LCS Arena.
In addition, ROCCAT will gain a presence on LCS broadcasts through its ‘Flip the Switch’ replay moment which showcases in-game plays. ROCCAT’s Flip the Switch activation will be utilised during the Mid-Season Showdown Finals Weekend on April 10th -11th.

René Korte, ROCCAT Founder and General Manager of PC Products at Turtle Beach, commented: “This is a great moment for ROCCAT. I started the brand because I wanted to create better-performing PC accessories that enabled PC gamers to win more, and because I knew these gamers would create a passionate community of fans.
“League of Legends players and fans are some of the most ardent in all of gaming, and the opportunity to integrate and introduce the ROCCAT brand to millions of League of Legends fans, and to collaborate and meaningfully deepen their connection to the game they love is an honour and a privilege.”
The peripherals brand joins the likes of Grubhub, Mastercard and Bud Light as partners of the LCS.
Esports Insider says: Many European fans may be familiar with ROCCAT due to the brand once having a League of Legends team in the EU LCS. Since its disbandment, the firm has kept relatively quiet within esports, particularly regarding partnerships, so it’s a welcome surprise to the firm partner with the LCS. It’ll be interesting to see how much of ROCCAT’s branding will be integrated into the LCS as the multi-year deal certainly seems to cover a lot of bases.
