REELY.AI is an AI startup that allows users to automatically identify, tag, and clip interesting moments in both traditional sports and esports broadcasts. This allows for real-time sharing of moments in esports games on social media, as well as making it easier for brands to create content.
The company has already partnered with Houston Outlaws and PlayVS, and supports titles such as VALORANT, Fortnite, NBA2K, and FIFA. REELY.AI CEO Daniel Evans and COO Maria Consuelo Gonima discussed the importance of ‘bite-sized’ content for esports brands on the latest ESI Focus podcast.
Todd Harris, Skillshot Media’s Founder, commented: “We met the Reely team early last fall as they were working to extend their capabilities to esports. We definitely saw the potential even then and we’re thrilled to now have these new tools for our productions. Our fans will love getting exciting moments in their hands quickly to share with friends, add their own commentary or just replay the action.”
Skillshot Media is an esports company formerly owned by Hi-Rez Studios. The company specialises in delivering a turnkey esports solution that includes both online and offline events, as well as brand integration and esports production.

REELY.AI CEO, Daniel Evans, commented: “We’ve been interested in the gaming space for some time but our focus was primarily collegiate and professional sports. When most live sports were cancelled in the Spring of 2020, we upgraded our tech to handle the massive scale in gaming and teamed up with Skillshot to start training our models and scoring algorithms accordingly.”
Esports Insider says: Reely’s algorithm will automatically clip and share best moments from Skillshot Media events to social channels in real-time. This should hopefully result in its social media team will having higher-quality content to engage its audiences with.
