Envy Gaming invests in streamer tool provider Botisimo

Esports and gaming brand Envy Gaming has announced a strategic partnership and investment in Botisimo, a company that provides tools for streamers on multiple platforms.

According to the release, Botisimo offers ‘chatbot, live stream marketing, analytics, and audience activation tools that integrate with users across multiple streaming platforms’. This includes Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, Discord, and Trovo.

As a result of the partnership, Adam Rymer, Envy Gaming’s CEO, will join Botisimo as a board member. Moreover, Envy will use Botisimo’s technology for its esports players, streamers, and content creators.

The amount invested by Envy Gaming has not been revealed.

According to the release, Envy Gaming joins Mason Bridge, LLC, as an investment partner in Botisimo.

Envy’s new partnership and investment follows on from the organisation raising $40m (~£28.7m) through an investment round led by Gray Television in March.

Esports Insider says: Envy Gaming’s investment in Botismo will surely provide them with a set of tools to make better content for its streamers. It’ll be interesting to see how Botismo will continue to develop now that it has the backing of an esports organisation.
