French esports organisation Team MCES has announced a partnership with the Aspire Zone Foundation.
As a result, the two parties will collaborate to install a 250 square-metre Aspire Zone esports training facility located in Qatar’s capital city of Doha.
The facility will be open to professional and amateur esports teams alongside children. The ‘unique’ esports programme will be used to cultivate aspiring esports talent as Qatar sets its sights on becoming an industry leader by 2030.
Romain Sombret, Co-founder and Chairman of Team MCES, commented on the partnership in a release: “We are very pleased to welcome a worldwide renowned partner. ASPIRE is a symbol of excellence and a key player in the world of sport. Our strategy to connect the worlds of sport and esports at the international level is entering a new era and a new dimension with ASPIRE. We are so proud to have been selected by the management of ASPIRE and have great objectives to develop a national vision by 2030.”
