The company announced that the first two NFTs in the series will be based on two of the team’s biggest stars: League of Legends player Łukasz ‘Puki Style’ Zygmunciak, and Apex Legends player Jose Domingo ‘Uxako’ Llosa Mesías.
Konrad Wasiela, CEO of ESE Entertainment, said: “The NFT industry is continuing to grow at a rapid pace. The OpenSea marketplace recorded over $3bn in transaction volume in August 2021. This is a tenfold increase from the previous month. We are thrilled to be part of this new opportunity around digital assets and are now providing exclusive NFTs to K1CK’s global fanbase.”
Founded in 1998, K1CK is one of the oldest esports organisations in the world. Now a part of ESE Entertainment, the organisation is most known for its League of Legends and Apex Legends teams, as well as its FIFA roster.

K1CK joins a number of esports teams that already made NFTs. T1, Team Singularity, WePlay Esports, Dignitas, and Virtus.pro are just some of the teams that collaborated with different blockchain companies on NFT projects.
Esports Insider says: The NFT craze is not missing the esports industry. Last year almost all of the big names in esports partnered with blockchain companies on crypto-based projects, and K1CK is the newest player to enter the field. Esports is a great industry for NFTs, considering the focus on new technologies, and surely there are going to be more partnerships set to be announced in the near future.
