Bishop joins Twitch’s parent company at an interesting time. The eCommerce company has recently secured valuable partnerships with Riot Games and BLAST. Moreover, the firm is steadily growing its presence in esports through Amazon UNIVERSITY Esports. Twitch Rivals, one of the brands Bishop will be in charge of, also recently secured a partnership with Crypto.com.
Esports Insider says: Christian Bishop is a valuable asset for Twitch, a company that has its eyes set on growth within the esports and game sector. Twitch will surely be focused on growing its Rivals and TwitchCon brands even more now that there’s a dedicated person to fuel its growth.
