Esports Insider has announced its 2022 events calendar, with its Majors (2-3 day conferences) planned to take place in Dubai, Washington DC, Singapore, and London.
This marks a truly international trajectory for ESI Events. The news was officially revealed at ESI London 2021, the company’s flagship conference, held at BOXPARK Wembley over November 8-9th.
It was also revealed that the company’s popular smaller, more intimate, invitation-only networking events, ESI Breakfast Club, will return to London among other locations. ESI will also launch an Esports On The High Street series, following a successful pop-up event at Sook on Oxford Street in October. Both the Majors and the Breakfast Clubs will focus on the business of esports and crossover industries, whilst the High Street events will be more fan and consumer-focused.
Sam Cooke, Co-Founder & Managing Director of Esports Insider commented: “We’ve so much in store for next year, and I can’t wait for it to get going!
“2020 put pay to our grand plans of numerous international events, which have long seemed a pipe dream, but 2022, it’ll become a reality. We’ll have a lot of announcements in the near future regarding our Majors — with each positioned a little differently in terms of focus, activities, audience and content. But whether you’re in Dubai or DC, Singapore or London; you can know for certain we will continue to commit to our ESI Events Guarantee of: a commitment to quality and originality across the board, supported by a welcoming, friendly atmosphere, excellent value, and always with a view to enabling the wider industry to be involved.
“We are always striving to ensure we’re staying on top of our game, so any feedback — let us know. Ideas to improve the events? Hit us up. We are all about collaboration; the only way our industry will continue to grow and reach the heights it can, so if you’d like to work with us, please do reach out!”
Whilst the exact dates have yet to be formally announced, the anticipated timings for each 2022 Major are: DC in May, Singapore in July, London in September, and Dubai in Q4. Esports Insider is aiming to have concrete dates locked in December 2021.
