Vietnamese esports organisation Saigon Buffalo has announced via Twitter that it is looking for a new owner or investors.

The company did not share any reason why it wants to be acquired, only that possible investors or buyers should reach out via a contact email address.

The organisation is one of the most notable League of Legends organisations in Vietnam, being a steady performer since its inception in 2016. Saigon Buffalo competes in the VCS, the top-flight League of Legends competition in Vietnam. The team was first called Young Generation, before changing names three more times to its current one.

Saigon Buffalo is perhaps most known for winning two splits of the VCS in 2018 and 2019, as well as being present at the League of Legends World Championships in 2017, 2018 and 2022. The organisation also participated in the 2019 and 2022 Mid-Season Invitational.

At the 2022 World Championships, Saigon Buffalo failed to qualify for the main event, finishing 19th overall after being knocked out by MAD Lions.
