Years of waiting will finally be over soon, as a Replay System for VALORANT is scheduled to come in Patch 11.06.

In addition, the game will be upgraded to Unreal Engine 5 with Patch 11.02 after a decade of development on Unreal Engine 4.

Replay System launch details

Replays will first roll out on PC this September, with console support at a later date in 2025. The initial version will allow players to analyse recently played competitive matches; however, players will have to wait for its release for other modes.

VALORANT Unreal Engine 5 upgrade

The Unreal Engine 5 upgrade is set to go live around the end of July. Riot Games has confirmed that while the first patch will be ‘significantly’ larger in size, players can expect improved FPS performance and faster patch downloads.

Devs have also ensured that VALORANT’s overall look, feel, and lineups will remain ‘similar’, preserving the core gameplay experience.

Lastly, a special gun buddy will be given to those who log into the game during patch 11.02.

Balancing and Smurfing Updates Coming in 2025

Riot Games is introducing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) in 2025 to crack down on account sharing and smurfing.

“Our plan is to require MFA – something like app or SMS verification – primarily for suspicious cases, and we’re looking into it for all Competitive accounts,” announced VALORANT’s developers.

Our goal is to have more clarity and guardrails around WHO is playing on an account. We’re planning to launch this year, with more specific details to come.”

Launching later this year, Riot will start issuing behavioural warnings and sharing details of current and upcoming penalties with players who don’t improve regardless.

Apart from this, the developers will be adjusting abilities this year that are difficult to counter, with Brimstone’s stun changes already released. Riot Games is also working on improvements in minimap updates, visuals, and audio, including Brimstone’s molly audio, Raze’s explosion visuals, Deadlock’s Barrier Mesh health visuals, and more.

“We’re confident that the changes we’re making now and some of the things we’re exploring for after Champs will ensure that we’re maintaining VAL’s core balance between gunplay and abilities. No spoilers though!” Riot Games revealed.

VALORANT’s fifth anniversary will also be celebrated with the launch of a new map, 5 year event pass, and special parties held at Riot Play Clubs across UK, Ireland, Finland, Sweden and Norway.

As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
