James Deakin, a host for CNN Philippines, has been named as an official brand ambassador of Bolt28 in an effort to promote the agency’s esports efforts. He had a sim racing match against professional sim racer Luis Moreno during a launch event where the upcoming event was announced.

The newly-launched agency has a partnership with Southeast Asian live streaming platform and television network eGG to broadcast the Bolt28 Sim Racing event.

Winners from Southeast Asian countries such as Malaysia, Philippines, and Singapore will compete in F4 SEA Weekend later this year. The ultimate winner will then go on to compete for the entirety of the 2020 season.

Indonesia, Vietnam, and Thailand will also be given the chance to race at F4 SEA Weekend in 2021, with Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos, and Brunei set to follow suit.

Esports Insider says: Bolt28’s launch strategy, hosting a sim racing event, is an interesting one. While sim racing may not be huge everywhere just yet, it seems as if the agency has identified a promising opportunity to make a name for itself in esports.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
