Next VALORANT Night Market schedule, skins, and more

Riot Games has made quite the cosmetics economy in VALORANT, ranging from bargains to borderline extortion. Riot releases new skin bundles in VALORANT every two weeks, keeping the market going, but note that these tend to cost more than the Counter-Strike 2 counterparts, making them inaccessible for many.

Luckily, Riot has sought to address this by introducing the VALORANT Night Market, a special, in-game event that offers discounts on skins. With that said, we’re detailing how the Night Market works and how you can use it save some money on VALORANT skins.

The Night Market is a limited-time VALORANT event where players get six random weapon skins from past collections at heavily discounted prices. Every player draws different skins and they remain the same through the event’s duration.

This provides a great platform to get skins at a fraction of their price and grab some that you may have missed. It is a luck-based event, meaning you could get the one you wanted or end up with something you have no interest in using.

When the Night Market is live, a shiny card icon will appear at the top-right corner in VALORANT. Clicking it will take you to the Night Market section, where six cards will be displayed, and you can flip them one by one to reveal your discounted skins.

If you like one or more from the options, you can buy them directly using VALORANT Points (VP). If not, you’ll have to wait for the next Night Market as there’s no option to reroll.

You can load up VALORANT Points by clicking the VP icon next to the Settings icon and choosing the amount you want to top up. The cost of VP varies by region, but here are some average prices:

Riot Games usually releases the Night Market every two to three months, but there is no set schedule. When available, it typically stays active for around two weeks. It isn’t known when the next VALORANT Night Market will be, with one currently underway as of writing for V26 Act 1. Here are the dates for every Night Market since they were introduced:

There is a certain set of rules around what skins appear in the Night Market. First of all, it will not include any VALORANT skins from the past two Acts or from a Battle Pass, which means an Act 3 Night Market can only offer skins from Act 1 or earlier.

Moreover, Select, Deluxe, and Premium edition skins all have a chance to appear in the Night Market, though each type has a different probability. You’re guaranteed to get at least two Premium edition or higher skins, and you won’t receive more than two skins for the same weapon, which ensures variety. Lastly, there’s also a chance to get melee or Exclusive edition skins, but this isn’t guaranteed.

VALORANT skins can often be expensive, some costing upwards of $50 for a single weapon. Because of this, if you want cosmetics for your gun, the Night Market’s discounts will always be worthwhile, but bear in mind that you only draw six cards, so the odds of getting exactly what you want is limited. 

Riot could increase the card count, especially given the current Night Market VALORANT finds itself in is longer than the typical two weeks, but this has not yet happened. Players who don’t get the desired skins within six attempts are forced to wait a while before trying their luck again.

Night Market is Riot Games’ answer to the community’s concerns over the high pricing of VALORANT skins. While there is no guarantee that you’ll get your favourite skins, it still offers a great opportunity to purchase skins at massive discounts.

So, if you’re someone who enjoys beautiful VALORANT skins and crazy animations but doesn’t want to overspend, you should be keeping an eye out for the Night Market. However, keep in mind that it’s a gamble, and if you are not lucky enough, you will have to fight for the next edition of the event to (hopefully) buy a skin.
